Holidaying In Hamilton

In the holidays I went to Hamilton to visit my cousins.

First we went to my auntie’s store.  While we were there we painted the store green and yellow.  While my dad was working on the appliances I learnt about Maths suduko and Albert Einstein.  Now I know about Albert Einstein.  He was the smartest person in the world in 1997. 

After that I did Maths.  It did Algebra and multiplication.  Then my cousin and I played cards.  The name of the card game was Last Card.  To play this game you get half of the cards then you take one of your cards and place it on the floor.  Then you put 2 cards on the floor.  I won.  Then we watched Pirates of the Caribbean.  It was about a pirate that likes treasure and he fights bad pirates.  I watched 3 parts of the Pirates of the Caribbean movie.  It was a so, so, so, fantastic, very fantastic movie!  I wish I could go back to Hamilton so much.

Mother's Day

On Mother’s Day we went to church at St Marks.  After that we went to the Sylvia Park Shopping Mall.  At the mall we bought jewellery for my mum.  We bought her a ring.  Then we bought her some roses.

I gave my mum her presents at night time and I said, “I love you mum”.  My mum said, “Wow!!”  Then my mum gave me hugs and kisses.  Later we went to the cinema to the movie called ‘Fast and Furious 7’.  It was a good movie and my mum enjoyed it.

After that we went home and my dad cooked corn beef, salmon and some eggs.  My mum liked not having to do the cooking.  We all had a great Mother’s Day.

My Friend’s Birthday Party

My Friend’s Birthday Party

In the holidays my cousin and I went to my friend’s birthday party.  My cousin’s name is JP.  My friend’s name is Toby.  Toby’s party was at the rock climbing place.  It is called ‘Climb Zone’.  My brother Aaron, my cousin Jewel and my Mum and Dad were also at Toby’s birthday party.

When we got to ‘Climb Zone’ we gave Toby his birthday present.  I gave him Lego Ninjuggo and a birthday card.  Then we ate Toby’s birthday cake.  It was chocolate with Batman decorated on it.  It tasted yum and fantastic!

Next Toby opened his presents.  He got a toy gun, a toy violin, a black and blue ball and Lego.  Then we all went rock climbing.  It was really hard climbing on the outside of the dinosaur skeleton.  I nearly fell down but my cousin Jewel caught me.  Later we played bumper cars.  We bumped each other and we had lots of fun. 

Later we went to McDonalds and then Hun Sun Restaurant for dinner.  Then we went home to sleep.  I was very tired but I had a great day!

Easter Time

At Easter time my Mum, Dad, older brother Aaron and I went to Hamilton. We stayed with my Auntie, Uncle and cousins. Their neighbour has a swimming pool and they let us play in it when it is warmer.  My Auntie hid some Easter eggs downstairs in their 
basement and us kids had to find them. I found three Easter eggs. They were hidden behind the back of the door. They had caramel inside them. They tasted yummy. I like going to my family’s house in Hamilton.

Making Homemade Ice Cream

Making Homemade Ice Cream

Yesterday I made homemade ice cream in Room 2 because we are learning how to turn liquid into a solid, in science.  We used evaporated milk, sugar and vanilla.  We all sat in a circle.  Miss Craig and Mrs Foden took photos of us.  Sister Evalesi helped the kids to put the ingredients into a bowl.  Next we beat it with an electric egg beater.  We all had a turn to beat the ingredients.  It turned fluffy, creamy and thick.  Then we put it in the freezer.  Later we tasted it.  It tasted yummy.  It is cool being able to make my own vanilla ice cream.  I liked our homemade ice cream a lot.

Playtime

 Today I played with my friends Oliver, Kena and Eliza. We played policemen. We played on the grass outside Rooms 1 and 2. The jail was under the tree. Oliver and I chased Kena and Eliza. They tried to run fast but we caught them. Kena and Eliza tried to get out. We all had lots of fun.
